Moving Forward Together, Apart

On March 23, faculty, staff, and scholars at Collegiate made the move from Faxon Avenue to individual homes to continue the semester online. While things look different for now, we are still dedicated to our mission of preparing young ladies and gentlemen for college success within a highly structured, nurturing, Christian environment.

In this month's newsletter, Collegiate’s Principal, Mr. Grimm, reflects on the importance of online learning and how Collegiate is striving to stay committed to the success of every scholar.

A Taste of Latin America

Being Comfortable with Being Uncomfortable

Dr. Martin Luther King said, “Intelligence plus character is the goal of true education.”  This quote hangs around the halls of Collegiate as a reminder to our scholars that education involves more than just their academic learning. Each month, Collegiate focuses on one of our ten Core Values to intentionally build character within our school community. This month Collegiate is highlighting our core value of Integrity.

Collegiate scholar Jaelyn S. (Class of 2020) spoke during our monthly school-wide Chapel service and shared what integrity means to her.

A Culture of Respect

On June 2, twelve Collegiate juniors and graduating seniors and two alumni leaders went to Belize to "go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation" (Mark 16:15). Nicole, a scholar at Collegiate, wrote about her time on mission and how the Lord worked in her heart while she was there.
