Established by an immediate need to make a difference within urban education, The Collegiate School of Memphis has filled a void for many families since opening its doors in 2008. Currently, Collegiate serves 360 young ladies and gentlemen, from over 280 families, by preparing them for college success within a highly structured, nurturing, Christian environment.
We have been able to make much progress in the last 10 years thanks in no small part to our donors and friends. As a result, we have now seen four graduating classes with 100% college acceptance to four-year colleges and universities. This Spring, 2018, marks the first college-graduating class of Collegiate alumni, of which we are immensely proud.
Indeed, private support is what makes it possible for us to pursue the highest-quality education for our student body. It is the sacrifices of our community supporters that provides the opportunity for us to make a difference in the lives of Collegiate scholars.
The “We Believe” 10th Anniversary Celebration is an invitation to celebrate the future of our college graduates as well as reaffirm that We Believe in the power of higher education for all Collegiate scholars. This celebration is an invitation to invest in the mission of Collegiate as we aim to increase the standard of success for future students. More so, initiative is an adventure in partnership as we seek to meet a need within the City of Memphis by providing our scholars with a college-ready education.
I hold our community in my prayers and hope we can count on you to continually uphold the mission and core values of The Collegiate School of Memphis.
